UPDATE: BOARD ERRORS

Problems With the new BOARD(?)

Sorry! Everything was fine. 'Dunno wha' happa' ?
There's some IP data to check out of who was on the server (takes a little time), and virtually
everything can be replaced. You may not notice anything different as soon as we replace the
files. That will just take some time, ok? For SECURITY reasons, we can't disclose what likely
happened (you understand), but be patient. We'll fix it, no prob'!

AS WELL...

...GOT 'BOARD?
The message board is   F I N A L L Y   going to be replaced!
woo hoo!

What WuZZ ThaT ?
If you read below where it says:
g00Fy trivia...
Well... I was working on the pages and found a web archive site.
I did a li'l diggin' around and was amazed!
The TEXT link I mentioned(?) YES! the oldest possible version of this website I could find,
had that very same link, right aound the same eplace where we keep it. The oldest template and
graphics that we ever had here still had that first link for the news page. It was in green text.

...now you can add ANOTHER 30 seconds to your Lost Time.

UPDATE: 6-14

BLUEBOOK MUSICIANS
There are 2 new files in the private section. Some pre-production tracks are already done.
PLEASE, PLEASE, read what's been updated [there]. The whole thing is explained, and if you've
noticed (on some of the web pages) we added a little jump-menu for the BlueBook Musicians to use.
There's quite a bit updated on the pages & the track sheets. It's a HeLLuVa lot easier to
just call me. I can explain how it all works in just a minute or two over the phone, or...
use the website... either way, you'll STILL have to call to set everything up! lol!
REMEMBER, if you lost your password, email JSV for a new one! No prob'.

btw- I regularly update the table/graphs on the "Musicians" page too. Have you noticed?

Thanx' everyone! ~JSV

F.Y.I.
Hint for our NEW visitors to the website:
If you go to the Home Page, you'll see a TEXT link for this NEWS page.
Each time there's an update [HERE] the TEXT that says: ELEMENT 115 news and updates
will have a different color. So, if you see it in pink, then you visit again later, and it has
changed colors--> ELEMENT 115 news and updates, you know that the News Page has
been updated. Again, when the News gets an update, the link on the Home Page
changes colors. We've mentioned it before but some new folks may not know that.

Here's a little g00Fy trivia too...
The link I just mentioned above, was the VERY FIRST "updates" link [this site] ever had. You know
how you keep things for good luck? Like, the first dollar bill in a store, etc. Chad put that up when he
made our FIRST page. I have never changed the links font, text, or removed it ever since Chad made
the very first menu of the website. The first time we 'updated' the news page, I think it was Chad that
did it then; he changed the color of the text. Then, when I would update it, I would change it too.
So, if any of you even give a s**t, I figured I'd share that trivia, because I think of that story every time
I make an update on this page. There's a news link right on the "rack menu", and everywhere else.
There really hasn't been a need for having that particular link for a long, long time.
The color changing text is actually a practical idea, it's a liitle nostalgic to me, and it's like a good
luck charm as well. It's been under the banner, in the same square, next to the rack menu. As far
as I know; from all the changes we've made on this site, I'm certain the Home Page has never
been uploaded to the server without that same link in the same place. It's been copied & moved
whenever certain graphics get changed. It's been copy/pasted to duplicate pages for the newer versions,
but I don't believe it has EVER been deleted and re-typed even! That just may be the original text!

Do any of you care? Probably not...

I just suddenly had the inspiration to tell that sTooP'iT story...

...and that's One Minute & Twenty-Seven Seconds of your life that you'll never get back.

Thanx' for reading!

Please tell your Family & Friends that you Love them.

UPDATE: SPRING '08

! IMPORTANT : BLUEBOOK MUSICIANS !
I'm still hopeful that most of you whom wanted to play on "BlueBook" are still willing. You'll be contacted soon
with the latest info. Everyone was told this would certainly take some time. After the list was being made, we had
the holidays, the winter weather conditions (which limits the traveling some of you have to do), and making time for
myself to start this thing. We're also working on some ELEMENT 115 stuff as well.
There ARE FINAL TRACKS being recorded. We're pretty certain of the list of
songs now, and I had to set-up some preparations with possible recording facilities that may be needed.

! IMPORTANT : BLUEBOOK MUSICIANS !
IF YOU LOST YOUR PASSWORD FOR THE PRIVATE SECTION
Just call me or email & I'll give you another one. No Prob'!

I DON'T HAVE ALL YOUR INFORMATION
Whether or not you've been contacted recently, PLEASE get in touch with me A.S.A.P.
CALL ME and leave a message if I'm not there. I NEED to know you can be expected to fulfil
your individual pledge to record on this project & what track(s) [you'll] be playing on!
E-MAIL ME: jsv@jsvcolorfast.com
I'm trying to assemble al your contact info, and a few emails/phone numbers were misplaced.
The MUSICIANS page will be updated within a day or so, and as soon as downloadable
files (fro you to practice to) are ready, we'll have those up there too.

Thank You, and PLEASE, if you're reading this, CONTACT ME as soon as you can. I really appreciate
everyone that was willing to check out the tracks, and everyone I met with seemed genuine in their
interest. I just hope your schedules will allow you to participate throughout the completion.
Remember: We'll make ANY NECESSARY ACCOMODATIONS that are possible!
There are still places for me to fit in another few tracks, so if any of you know a friend that would
be interested as well, have them call me!

Please tell your Family & Friends that you Love them.

Advance

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER / 2007

The Fr*k'n Board!
First up, the Message Board has been down for a long time, we know this, it must be fixed or replaced.
The problem is; something that was supposed to be fixed may not be practical to do so. We'd much
rather keep the old board and not lose all the members' info, posts, topics, etc., every time there's a prob'
with the forums. Maybe we'll put a replacement up for now, and try to save the old one, can't say yet?

The Common Denominator...
The biggest thing is finding the time to commit to replacing a lot of the site. There should be so many
things updated. There are pages that must be added to the guitar section, and [that part] has been helpful
to customers since its' been added. There are images & info all ready to go up, but being very busy is
always the obstacle course. You wouldn't be reading THIS if there wasn't a plan in the works, it seems.
Even the NEWS pages themselves haven't had all the archives & such stored on the server.

ELEMENT 115
If the NEW DRUMMER in the picture works out, we'll post all the news. This will get the few songs left
to complete the D*RTY W*RDS record (along w/finishing tracks, dubs, mixes) then off to the record
company for mastering, etc. The PROJECT: BLUEBOOK record is getting a kick start so all these
things take time, especially when there's been work to do on clients projects and such. As soon as we
start tracking pre-pro w/the new drummer, we'll be braggin' about the details. Wish us luck.

Every Diceknob Product Handmade One at a Time in the U.S.A."

SCARY GUITARS
NEW STUFF' being added for the GUITAR SHOP. Revised site will have plenty of
details on the guitar business. Included:
~Info' for local customers
~Info' for out of state customers to ship & have custom work/repairs done
~Pic's from some customers' scalloped necks, and other repairs/modifications
~PURCHASE total s00pa'-d00pa' HOT-ROD-MODS. There'll be some HOTRODS up for sale
that have high-output pickups, scalloped necks, custom wiring, custom pickguards,
re-shaped Ibanez neck profiles, very similar to my custom 550 design.
So LOOK for it. They'll be here... I WANT your money!

In the meantime; any of you reading that would like more info' on the guitar shop or scalloped necks,
please contact JSV. I'll make contact & answer general questions by email. If you want specific info,
or price estimates, customization options, etc., I'll only discuss on the phone: 781-396-7538 (call 24/7)

I'll even email you close-up pics of scalloped necks if you want work done. My scallop jobs are
AS GOOD or BETTER than ANYTHING you'll see on the market. I have a unique method of cutting
and finishing that FOLLOWS THE GRAIN of the neck. I don't see ANY other shops doing this.
If they do, I don't know about it, and I've researched. The final result is a smooth, slick, perfect,
even shape with no lumps, funny bruises, or hacked frets. I've had customers guess that I was using a
MACHINE to do it. NOT so.They last too! Repairs come in with rosewood necks I've scalloped
10+ years ago, and they're STILL PERFECT. I even re-buff the finish to clean & re-oil the wood
(along w/the repair) at no extra charge, and they look like they did the first day. The finish on my maple
scalloped jobs is guaranteed (under normal use) for as long as you own the guitar. I haven't got ONE
back yet. I'll put some customer testimonials (w/pics) on this site when we re-do this place. A couple of
[scallop] customers that have sold their guitars, said the buyer swore it was factory. Years ago, a Florida
customer of mine was at a NAMM show. The Ibanez rep's (that saw his RG540S) tried to tell him that
Ibanez did the job, even AFTER he said it was customized by me! OK...?!!? 'nuff said.

This 24-fret tung-oil finished scalloped maple neck is FLAWLESS
We'll have more pic's when the site is updated

Custom-from-Stock
(These are not for sale)

NOT every neck can, or should be scalloped. Please call for details if you're interested. I'll be happy to
answer your questions & inform you about this process, or any other job you want done.

Many customers have preferred scalloping only from 12-up, from 15-up, & from 17-up
Scalloping the ENTIRE neck is not always my recommendation to those either; not familiar with the feel,
not prepared for the extreme difference in playability, and/or not skilled to play chords on these necks.

Please Contact Us for all info' if you want a Custom-From-Stock Hot-Rod design!

Specialties (not exclusively) are:
Ibanez - RG series and modern solid-body i.e., 540(S,R,P), 550, 560, 570, 700series, etc.
I'll even Hot-Rod your 300 & 400 series Ibanez to make it a Super-Pro machine.
Charvel/Jackson styles, ESP, Epiphone, and others, modern solid-body trem' & hard-tails alike
