Sorry to say: It's just customary around here; this thing is getting hacked too! I had this experimental cheap-0 pickup (for my cheap-0 Oud). I wanted to try some things out, and mic-ing it was a royal pain in tha' aRsE. So I got a recommendation from my classical GURU, Jeff. He hooked me up w/a b-band pickup. Prob' is, we have to take out the middle inlay in the center sound-hole to get the b-band IN there. Then, I have to mount the pre-amp & battery components, as well as the output jack. That'll be done real soon. I'll take all new pic's and do this page over when it's done. Meanwhile I'm happy to just be playing on this thing w/o the amps, but I NEED that pickup installed so I can record with it. You'll get to hear it then! The "Oud" is a KrEEpY far-out, totally wiKKi't-aWwSumm melodic instrument! I'm havin' a BLAST w/this thing!

I became a fan of the Oud when I was a kid. The first time I saw this local pro', some way-gone-cat playing one of these. Blew my mind! This instrument has greatly influence my guitar playing ever since. The sound of this instrument puts me in another world.
